Representative David Yarde II is the newly-elected District 52 representative in the Indiana House. He serves on three House Committees - Elections and Apportionment; Family, Children, and Human Affairs; and Small Business and Economic Development. He has two sons with his wife Julie, who owns JY Design & Print Inc. in Garrett, where they reside. Justin, 26, is a registered nurse, and Dakota, 14, is an 8th grader. Rep. Yarde is the 5th generation to live on his family's farm, making him a true Hoosier. In his spare time, Rep. Yarde enjoys antique automobiles, hunting, and fishing.

Representative David Wolkins was first elected in 1988 to serve House District 18. He received his Bachelor of Science from Greenville College and his Masters from St. Francis College. After completing his formal education, he was a school teacher and coach from 1965 to 1977. In 1977, Wolkins decided to go into business for himself and opened the Case Farm Tractor Dealership, his business selling farm equipment until 1981. Then he became the Vice President of ABC Travel Inc, where he worked until 1988, when he was elected to the State Legislature.
