Rebecca Kubacki

Challenger in District 22 | Counties served: Kosciusko     Wabash    

Rebecca is the middle child of seven. Born to migrant workers Raul and Christina Espinoza, she first moved to Indiana from Texas, when as a little girl, her parents were hired to pick tomatoes on a farm in Oswego Indiana, only a few miles from where she is currently living. Rebecca attended Pierceton High School in Pierceton Indiana, which is where she met her husband Michael Kubacki. The high school sweethearts were married after dating for four years and have now been married for 37 years. Mike is the President and CEO of Lake City Bank.


Bill Friend

Incumbent in District 23 | Counties served: Elkhart     Fulton     Kosciusko     Marshall     Miami    

Representative Friend is from Macy, Indiana located in the north-central part of Indiana. He has faithfully served the citizens of House District 23 in the Indiana House of Representatives since 1992. Bill has been on the Ways and Means Committee and the Agricultural, Natural Resources, and Rural Development Committee. Upon graduation from the University of Indianapolis, he returned to Miami County and is now owner/operator of Friend Farms.


David Wolkins

Incumbent in District 18 | Counties served: Elkhart     Kosciusko     LaGrange    

Representative David Wolkins was first elected in 1988 to serve House District 18. He received his Bachelor of Science from Greenville College and his Masters from St. Francis College. After completing his formal education, he was a school teacher and coach from 1965 to 1977. In 1977, Wolkins decided to go into business for himself and opened the Case Farm Tractor Dealership, his business selling farm equipment until 1981. Then he became the Vice President of ABC Travel Inc, where he worked until 1988, when he was elected to the State Legislature.
