Alan Morrison

Alan has lived in Vigo County and worked at one of the top engineering colleges in the nation, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, for the last nine years. Morrison’s work includes managing nationally recognized NCAA Division III facilities while interacting with the next generation of top-tier engineering and science students. Prior to working at Rose, he was a corporate sales account executive for a professional hockey team in Flint, Michigan, the Flint Generals. There, Alan’s duties included corporate sales, marketing, event management, and community relations.
Alan is married to Cinda, and they have two children, Katelyn and Derek. Morrison values and believes that family, education, individual freedom and limited government are the major components for success. Alan received his Bachelor of Science degree from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania and his Master of Arts degree from Indiana State University.
Morrison will be challenging incumbent Democrat Clyde Kersey in House District 43, which encompasses parts of Vigo and Clay Counties.
