Francis Ellert

Growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, Francis Ellert’s parents taught him at a very young age the value of hard work. Through his parent’s encouragement, Ellert began his first job at the age of ten working a paper route for the local newspaper.
In 1986, Ellert graduated from Chanel High School. He earned a B.A. in History from John Carroll University in 1990. Ellert was first introduced to House District 17 as a teenager spending his summers at the Naval School program of the Culver Academies. Soon after getting married, Ellert and his wife decided to make Marshall County their home. Currently, Ellert works in Plymouth as the Plant Manager of a Coca-Cola distribution facility.
Today, Ellert resides in Marshall County with his wife, Susan, and their four children, Betse (11), Pierce (9), Fritz (7) and Cabot (5).
